Valerie is the protagonist of the story and the main POV character. She is a cheerful, silly, and energetic sixteen year old girl. She's impulsive and a bit naive, but she more than makes up for it through sheer determination and perseverance! She's friendly, sweet, and is totally boy-crazy! (and girl-crazy… and everything-in-between-crazy!)
