Ethan Route Walkthrough

In order to proceed past episode 7 you need decent friendship (hidden stat), thirty or more affection with Alex (blue heart level), and eight affection points with Liam (grey heart level)

​You do not need to strictly adhere to the answers in this guide and it is possible to advance by picking different options, however these answers will maximize the amount of friendship points as well as the amount of affection you can gain with Sophie and Ethan.

Spoiler-free Hints

  • Ethan already likes you! You don’t have to try too hard to win him over.

  • Val hasn’t been spending too much time with him recently, he might become a little jealous if you ignore him too much.

  • Valerie needs to be good friends with everyone on the team, try not to be too mean to your friends.

  • Once in a relationship with her it should be smooth sailing, but the previous tips still apply! Make sure Ethan knows how much you appreciate him!

Specifics

In order to enter her route you need to have Best Friendship level with Sophie (Yellow heart level), 60 points of affection(Orange Heart), and 70 friendship points

Val has been spending a lot more time with her new magical friends than with Ethan, hasn’t she? Starting in Episode 9, Ethan will gain jealousy points which can cause a loss in affection in both him and Sophie. Make sure he feels included when you guys hang out!

*These choices gain little to no affection with Ethan, but will gain friendship points.

Episode 9:

(Depending on your affection level with Ethan, you might want to prioritize him a little more to avoid an AP loss with Sophie, however try not to let Ethan get too high!)

  • Go to the museum with Sophie and Ethan (-5 FP, -2 AP with Alex, and -5 AP with Liam if you promised to hang out with them instead)

  • Nah, she's probably too busy with her other plans... (-5 FP but avoids a jealousy gain with Ethan)

  • Ehehehe~ I'm sorry, did you say something, Ethan? (+5 AP with Sophie, -5 AP with Ethan, +1 JP with Ethan)

  • H-hey, so have you been feeling alright recently, Ethan? (+5 AP with Ethan and +5 FP) 

    • rban landscapes exhibit. (+5 AP with Ethan)

      • Germany (+5 AP)

  • OR ...Do you think they had dinosaurs on Glimmer? (+2 AP with Amber, -4 AP with Ethan. If you promised to hang out with Alex on this day you will lose another -5 AP with Alex and -5 FP. Liam will gain back his lost AP and gain an additional 2 AP for calling him)
